About Palco
The PALCO research group aims to integrate research that seeks to analyze and explain linguistic phenomena in natural languages, in situations of use, considering the relationship between discourse, grammar, and cognition from the theoretical perspective of Cognitive-Functional Linguistics and Cognitive Grammar.
Every year, the group holds a meeting with the aim of bringing together researchers in the field of cognitive linguistics, either individually or in their interfaces.
In November 2024, the group held the third edition of Cenas, in a 100% online format, in honor of Lilian Ferrari. To access the abstract book, visit the Palco publications page.
In 2025, we will hold the fourth edition of Cenas, maintaining the 100% online format. Cenas do Palco, act IV, will take place from September 9 to 11 and will have as its theme “Meaning in Motion: Grammar, Culture, and Cognition.” Soon, we will publish the first circular with more details and the link to the event website.
